We have the experience and expertise to properly prepare surfaces for paint, which can help ensure a smooth and even finish. Bays’ cabinet painting team can also paint your cabinets for a significantly less price than it would cost you to install new ones.
Kitchen cabinet painting is one of the most popular kitchen trends today. Kitchen cabinet painting is a quick and easy way to give your kitchen a whole new look without having to replace all of your cabinets. There are many reasons to consider painting your kitchen cabinets. For one, painting is a much cheaper option than replacing cabinets entirely. It’s important to find professional painters that are comfortable with a process that produces long-lasting results.
One of the quickest and easiest ways to give your bathroom an updated look is to paint your bathroom cabinets. Whether you have old, outdated cabinet doors or simply want to change the color scheme of your bathroom, painting your cabinet doors is a relatively simple project that can have a major impact. In addition to updating the look of your bathroom, painting cabinets can also help to protect the wood from moisture and mold.
Many people overlook the potential of their entertainment center and leave it unfinished or painted an ugly color. However, painting an entertainment center can have a dramatic impact on the look of a room. Paint can transform an outdated piece of furniture into a sleek and modern centerpiece. It can also help to tie the room together, creating a cohesive look.
There are a number of benefits that should be considered when painting vanities. For one, a fresh coat of paint can help to brighten up a space and give it new life. In addition, painting can also help to protect the vanity from wear and tear. A reliable paint company will produce a high-quality paint job creating a barrier that will resist water damage, scratches, and other types of damage.
A bookcase is an essential piece of furniture for any serious reader, providing a storage space for books, protect them from dust and sunlight, and keep them organized. However, many bookcases are made of cheap materials that can quickly become damaged or worn. Painting a bookcase is a great way to give it a new lease on life and make it look more stylish.
A color consultant can help you choose the right colors for your home. They consider your preferences and the space’s characteristics to create a practical and eye-catching palette. Whether you want a calm or bold look, a color consultation can help you find the perfect shades for your interior painting project.

Cabinet Painting Process
Our professional painters will follow this process for every cabinet painting project to ensure they do an excellent job!
We take all of the hardware and cabinet doors/drawers off before we paint. If you are changing hardware, we must have it in hand the day we start to label things because if you need holes filled or drilled, this prep work must take place before we begin painting. You don’t have to take anything out of the kitchen cabinets since we don’t paint the inside.
After taking all hardware and door/drawers off, we will sand all bases and doors/drawers to break the clear coat. This step does create a small amount of dust, but it allows the primer to soak into the wood and attach well which yields the best results.
We take all of the doors/drawers ends home to paint. This allows us to give time between coats. Your bases are painted each morning, then during the afternoons, the team works on your doors/drawers offsite. The underside of the bases is not painted, as it’s not visible and is not made with a finished product or cover well.
After the prime coat, our team puts on multiple coats of the finish product (either Emerald or Dynasty). This process has to allow for dry time between coats. Bases are painted in the mornings on site, and door/drawers are painted in the afternoons offsite.
On the final day, the doors/drawers are brought back and all hardware is re-installed. Touch-ups are also performed. We leave extra paint for you, too, in case there are areas that chip during normal wear. The product has a two-week full cure time, so we ask you to be gentle initially with use and not wipe the doors for a couple weeks after completion. You’re going to LOVE your “new” cabinets!
